We got back to Islamabad safely the night before, had a stonking dinner - Thai I seem to remember - in the Marriot - which was fantastic with Chiade, her hubby, Kitty and some of the BBC guys from Delhi who had also just come back from the hills, joined us as well.
We edited all day, and finished a 14 minute film for our new International hour in the evening as well as a shorter version for use during the day.
Back to normaility the next day we did some lives, sorted out tickets back to Delhi and went for a well deserved meal in the evening with plenty of beer.
The day after Ashish was contacted by a Pakistani in the UK about Faiza, wanting more details so he could arrange to help her and her grandfather have a much better life outside the valley - with his own family in who live Islamabad.
Some days I think I have the best job in the world. This was one.
